Incidently the reason the transits were combined with the liner was due to the recent cessation of the speedlink wagonload network, this combined working only lasted a couple of months before Rfd started a dedicated working from Eastleigh to Dagenham via Andover.

47526 with its very tatty paintwork leaves Basingstoke for Waterloo

47627 approaches Eastleigh off the Chandlers Ford branch with the MO Bristol-Eastleigh works res vans for overhaul. Looks like they weren't happy with the previous efforts on the 2nd van. Still trying to find a date for this shot.
